English Langauge Learners in the Science Classroom - Reflections

Over the past several weeks I have been researching effective strategies for working with English language learners in the science classroom.  Click here to see a Prezi presentation that serves as a reflection of my learning.  In the bottom right hand corner of the Prezi you will see 'more.'  Click 'more' to auto-play the Prezi and/or see it in full screen size.

  1. Your presentation was very interesting. I liked how you organized your thoughts. I also liked the pictures you included and the "thank you" page in different languages.

  2. Hi Kelsey- I enjoyed your Prezi very much...the organization flowed very well and your concepts were clear. I often think of the "iceberg" model when I am teaching, so I appreciate you including that :-)

  3. Kelsey, Your prezi was very easy to follow and impressive! I loved being able to follow your train of thought from start to finish. The iceberg was a great representation on how to show teaching! Dr. Johnson uses the same "iceberg" idea for his class on Race and Ethnicity at Drake, I was really pleased to see it used again! Great job :)
