I decided to use prezi.com for my presentation. The directions were frustrating but once I played around with it a little, I got the hang of the website. It was kind of fun actually! I hope to use this again for a presentation in the future.
I like that you listed local nature preserves as a reference for your class. I know there were a lot of ideas for science, but I would have liked to have you list a few. I liked the ideas you had for using technology to make it more interesting instead of having students write or draw for everything you do. Everything was clear and organized with the structure of a concept map. I like that you included some links, and I could get an idea of what your blogs were about just by looking at this.
I enjoyed your Prezi. I think you did a great job organizing your research and breaking it down into a web form. I only read a blog or two of yours, and while reading this I felt like I got the gist of all of your research. I also really liked how you connected science with other content areas. This is hard for some teachers so it is a good help. I also like your sections on Nature Preserves and how beneficial they are! Hopefully this will help them become more prevalent. I thought your presentation was informative with not too much information! Great job!

I think it's really important to teach across content areas. Your examples will help make this a possibility for practicing teachers.
